This
Non Profit Community Resource Center, a
complete Community Resource
Building. In order to benefit and serve the needs of the
nonprofit community along with the richly diverse
population of the North Side in the City of
Chicago, this building is marketed for occupancy
directly to nonprofit programs and to the
community groups in appreciation of
togetherness and seeking collaborative efforts.
This Non Profit building specializes in leadership, facilitation training and
practices while educating others on
participatory leadership. This
experience encourages the interagency
collaborative atmosphere and also provides
organizations with a context of how they can find
their own niche in the Social Service world. The
Non Profit Community Resource Center provides
an affordable Chicago space while also providing
Conference meeting spaces as well as guidance
and input to agencies seeking a more visible
face in the community.
The
building itself has been described as one
that brings a sense of welcome and belonging to
people who come from all over the world.
Agencies who share in the expansive and
extensive available space have often received
welcome assistance and ideas about how to
|
|
create
their space so that the design meets the
needs of the Agency and its clients.
Key
features of the facility include a meeting
space available to organizations of the building
and a break area that is provided to staff of the
building programs. The meeting space allows
organizations of the building to have meetings
on the premises at a lower cost rather than
having to maintain and pay for a conference room for each program all year
having only rare usage. The break area is a unique skylit
room with murals and interior as well as exterior segments,
green plant space and skylights. A beautiful setting that
enhances the collaborative experience and strengthens
the
work staff for the demands of a Non Profit
client and its
community needs.
The
facility houses over 25 programs, such as various homeless
outreach and multicultural services. Together all of these
programs have seen over 100,000 clients that come through
the nonprofit facility occupants doors yearly.
